St. Patrick's Day Makeup
It's no secret that holidays are the perfect opportunity to bust out bold shadows and go for the dramatic. St. Patrick's Day has always been one of my favorite holidays for doing my makeup. Greens really stand out against my brown eyes, so I love St. Patrick's Day for its green hues.
I've actually really been itching to find a neon yellow based green for awhile. I've considered getting UD Electric, Sleek Acid, or Sugarpill Acidberry. I knew I wouldn't be able to find a shadow in time for St. Patrick's Day though. I knew I needed to come up with something.
That's when I decided to mix Inglot 477 with Sugarpill Butter Cupcake. The results can be seen in the inner corner of my look today.
The color is pretty much exactly what I was going for. I also decided to try my hand at falsies again for the second time. I had a lot more success this time around. I actually got the lashes to be close to my lash line!

FOTD: 90s Inspired
Hey everyone! I'm back with a 90s inspired makeup look featuring all matte products. My boyfriend's grandma recently knitted me with adorable yellow hat. I decided to pair it with a denim top and go for a 90s grunge vibe. I reached for the matte half of my Lorac pro palette to create a brown smokey eye. I paired it with my favorite dark lip, Mac Diva.
I was initially a little shy to the idea of wearing this yellow hat in public. I'm not the cutest person in hats, I must admit. I received so many compliments on the hat today that I don't feel so shy now. Everyone said I had grungey, hipster look and that they loved it. What a confidence booster!

A Flirty Valentine's Day Look
Our Valentine's Day Week FOTD is just about up, so I wanted to offer another flirty option. For this look, our lids will be gold and rose. I used Urban Decay Chopper and patted it on the middle of the lid. I used a fluffy blending brush (E25 by Sigma) to lightly blend Dust from the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette on both the inner and outer corners of the eye. Both the gold and rose tones really bring out a lot of different eye colors. I feel like it really brings out the lighter parts of my brown eyes.
To keep the look flirty, I paired the rose eye with a pink cheek and pink lips. The cheek color is Glisten by Tarte, which I think is just the perfect blusher color for Valentine's Day. Glisten lasts on my oily cheeks all day and it also blends super easily. I brought the blush a little closer to the apples of my cheeks today to give a more cutesy look.
